Celtic End Good Week On A High

Dundee 0 Celtic 1

Celtic maintained their unbeaten league record with a dull but deserved 1-0 at Dens Park, the revitalised Scott Brown getting the only goal.

Brendan Rodgers made only one change after the midweek heroics against Man City, Simunovic in for Kolo Toure.

The first half didn't have many chances, a Scott Sinclair shot tipped round the post being the only real opportunity, with Celtic dominating possession without real creating chances.

Thankfully the breakthrough came in the 47th minute, a pass from Brown to Sinclair caused chaos in the Dundee box, the ball eventually falling to Brown who hammered the ball home.

Celtic went in search of another goal, coming closest when a Dembele effort bounced just over the bar.

Eventually the game petered out with Brendan Rodgers no doubt happy to keep a clean sheet, also fitting that Brown - who has been one of Rodgers' star men so far this season - got the winning goal. A fine end to a great week for Celtic.
